We are pleased to announce the results of the elections to RCCJ’s 2011-2012 Board:

Secretary General: Marip Seng Bu

Deputy Secretary General: Myo Myint Swe

Treasurer: John Myo Aung

Secretary: Thomas Gon Aung

Public Relations Officer: Anthony Nanyumba

Cultural/Entertainment Officer: Peter Bran Saing and Saw Ba Hla Thein*

Research/Website Officer: Charles Yende

* Two candidates for Cultural/Entertainment Officer received equal numbers of votes.
The new Board will determine how to proceed.
We wish to thank everyone for their participation, and we also wish to encourage
everyone – new and old Board members, candidates, and supporters – to contribute to
RCCJ ’s valuable work on behalf of refugees, and those in refugee-like situations,
across Japan.
Finally, we wish to express our gratitude for the privilege of serving you on this
important occasion.
