62-year old SAW TA THAY NYAH walked for three days through dense jungle to cross the Thai- Burma border despite the fact he is virtually blind.

It was an arduous and dangerous journey, but one he hopes may restore his sight.

He's come to The Mae Tao Clinic in the border town of Mae Sot for an operation to remove the crippling cataracts he's lived with for seven years......
